Project overview
As we reline the pipeline using trenchless technology, we will also rehabilitate manholes along the pipeline. Some of this work will take place within public reserves, roadways, and roadside berms, while some will occur on private property. We aim to work closely with you to minimise disruption while we complete this urgent repair work.
Benefits
This project will ensure the existing wastewater pipes continue to safely and consistently transfer wastewater through our network to our treatment plants for many years to come.
See the map of the proposed work area below

How the work will impact locals (traffic management plans, noise, roads blocked off etc):
To carry out these works, our contractors will need access to several sewer manholes. As the crew progresses, moving from manhole to manhole, you may experience some localised traffic disruption, noise, and odour in the immediate vicinity.
These works will generate some noise; however, it will be kept to a minimum and within levels approved by Auckland Council. We appreciate your patience as we undertake these essential works. Please note that these works will not affect your water or wastewater services.
