About these standards
The wastewater local network covers the collection system to carry wastewater from each property to the wastewater transmission system. The peak dry weather flow is generally less than 78 litres per second.
These standards are for pipelines typically less than 300mm nominal diameter. Local networks that are larger in diameter may need to add input during design, or to follow the standard details in wastewater transmission. We will evaluate these requirements on a case-by-case basis.
